EID ORLANDO |
Eid Orlando is a community partnership of Orlando area Muslim organizations who are passionate about uniting the Central Florida Muslim community. Eid Orlando creates festive, family-friendly Eid prayer and celebration events. We are excited to announce that the Eid ul Fitr 2025 event, the largest indoor Eid prayer and celebration in Florida, was attended by over 5,000 people! Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, supported, and everything in between.
EID UL-FITR 2026 Announcement
Ramadan Mubarak from Eid Orlando! We pray that this Ramadan has brought with it days full of worship, community, and care.
As you may have heard, Eid Orlando will not be hosting an Eid Prayer and Celebration this year. We take the responsibility of gathering our community very seriously and have tried all year to find an alternative space that could accommodate our growing community since the convention center was not available due to Megacon. We could not find anything that has enough parking, is reasonably priced, and available. Unfortunately, it did not work out, no matter how hard we searched. We will miss celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with you this year and hope you forgive us for disappointing you.
We truly believe that Allah, The Most Wise, is the BEST of Planners, and perhaps at troubling times like this, when our community is actively being targeted locally and around the globe, we were meant to gather differently. So even though we cannot be with you, we are praying that the rest of this blessed month is full of barakah, and this Eid is a time to re-connect with your local celebrations.
Don't worry, we already have plans for next year and insha'Allah will resume bringing smiles and joy to your families in 2027. If you would like to be part of the planning team, please reply to this email and we will be in touch as soon as planning begins for next year.
In the meantime, we have some ideas for how to make this Eid extra special, so stay tuned!
